STAR WARS Galaxies Links

Most of the information I obtain comes from outside sources. With so many people playing SWG, they are the best source for information in the game. While I play the game often, I am unable to get all the information that is out there.

I credit many of those whom I talk with and guild/city members on Ahazi and Chilastra servers for my information. There is also a good amount of information on the official webpage and forum, along with alternative websites such as swgcraft.com and allakhazam.com.

Official SWG Page - This is the official page for the game. Look on the news page for the most recent information. Other sections aren't updated as frequently

Official SWG Forums - This is the official forums. I would look here for up-to-date information from those who know the game best--the players! I obtain lots of information in these forums. The only thing to watch for is rumors and total lies.

swgcraft.com - This page is essential for any crafter in the game. If you build anything, or know someone that does, go here and register and use the page. The schematics are here along with current resources and a very complete resources database for each galaxy. You must register and setup your account for the page to work properly. This page has two sections, the main page is separate from the forums, but there isn't a good way to navigate between them, just use this link to go to the main page.

SWG Stratics.com page - This page contains very up-to-date news about the game.

allakhazam.com - This page also contains information about the game. This is not an official source, and includes general information about the game -- more specifically combat, walkthroughs, and schematics. This webpage may not be up-to-date as well as other sites, however.

swgcreatures.com - This page details information about the creatures in SWG. It is a user-submitted database similar to swgcraft.com. Also has the detailed information on Super Battle Droids. Not anything about NPCs however (this includes tusken raiders).

Guide from non-Force Sensitive to Jedi Padawan - This is a guide on the official forums. If you want to know what it takes to get started as a Jedi, look here and print it out. (I recommend a copy/paste into Word before printing). I am not pursuing Jedi, so for those that are, look here and to the official forums for guides from players. They are changing the Jedi quests often so be aware of updates.

Greep Newbish (SWG comic strips) - This is a webpage with SWG comics. I thought some of them were really funny. I can identify with those and I'm sure the veterans of the game will as well.

If there is a webpage you think is a valuable guide to the game, let me know. I do not intend to link solely to guild and player city webpages here. The webpage has to give some helpful information (or be entertaining). I may include a separate link page for guilds and player cities in the future so people can advertise their guilds/cities.
